The Governors of Darrington CE Primary School, are looking to appoint a dedicated, effective and enthusiastic Early Years Educator, who can contribute significantly to the continuing improvement of our school. The successful candidate must be a qualified Level 3 Nursery practitioner and meet the following requirements:

To work with and provide a high standard of care for children aged 3 to 4 years

  • To deliver a programme of age appropriate activities
  • To communicate effectively with parents/carers
  • To maintain record keeping
  • To work as part of a team
  • To be supportive of the Christian ethos
  • To help maintain the overall duties within the setting
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Level 3 in an Early Years subject is essential.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of EYFS

Additional Information                   A DBS check will be undertaken.

                  6.15 hours per week Mon - Fri 12.00 -1.15pm Term Time Only

To start in post as soon as possible, we are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor.  Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and committed person who must have the following qualities:

*A calm, caring, sensitive nature

* Previous experience working with children within a school or similar setting

*Ability to show initiative

* Enthusiasm and a friendly approach

*Ability to get on well with others in a team            

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Your job role will be to supervise children during the lunchtime period.  You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, patience  and an ability to manage behaviour positively and promote a calm lunchtime experience for all children.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
