We celebrated Safer Internet Day in school today by completing a range of activities in our classes that helped us to think about safe and respectful online behaviour.

This year's school discos, organised by the PTFA were again a great success, much enjoyed by all who attended.

We are very proud that the Chelsea Pensioners' visit to our school last week was featured on the front page of this week's Pontefract and Castleford Express!

We'd like to send a huge 'Thank you!' to everyone who supported our MacMillan coffee morning this year, either by baking, donating or coming to enjoy coffee and cake with us in school. Our fundraising this year raised the record amount of £506 during the morning and a further amount (to be confirmed) at our after-school bake sale. We are very proud of everyone's efforts and grateful that so many families and local residents set aside the time to attend - the atmosphere in school was lovely.
