Today we were visited by Wakefield Music Services who really got us in the Christmas Spirit!
This group of musicians are usually teaching our children how to play instruments but today they visited us to play some Christmas hits and educate us about different musical instruments.

Today Team Eagle visited the Lifewise Centre in Rotherham to meet ‘The Crucial Crew’. The Lifewise Centre is a purpose-built set run by South Yorkshire Police and the South Yorkshire Fire Service where a range of scenarios are staged to teach about various aspects of safety. The Crucial Crew is made up of volunteers representing a range of services, including the fire service, the police, St John’s Ambulance and road safety teams.

Today we invited Subject Revolution into school to run maths-themed workshops with each of our classes. All of the children enjoyed the workshops and worked brilliantly co-operatively, using their learning powers successfully to solve their challenges and complete their missions! We are very grateful to our PTFA who funded the event and to the Governors who were able to give their time to support the day.
On Thursday 24th May, we held a Royal Wedding celebration in school to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.
